Services

Our Asphalt Roofing Services

From a free inspection after a hailstorm to a full replacement that wraps in a single day, here is what we handle for homeowners across our markets.

Asphalt Roof Inspection

A good inspection goes beyond looking at shingles from the driveway. We get on the roof, check what is actually happening up there, and put the findings in writing.

Request a professional roof inspection and get a clear picture of where your roof stands.

Asphalt Roof Repair

If your roof has a specific problem, such as missing shingles, a leaking pipe boot, or failed flashing, we find the cause and fix the right thing. Not every issue needs a full replacement.

See our roof repair services for more details.

Asphalt Roof Installation

A properly installed asphalt roof starts with the right materials for your climate and ends with details, ventilation, ridge caps, and flashing that most crews treat as afterthoughts.

Asphalt Roof Replacement

When an asphalt roof has reached the end of its service life or when damage is too widespread to repair, we manage the full tear-off and replacement, including addressing any deck damage underneath.

Asphalt Roof

Materials

Not all asphalt shingles are the same. There are meaningful differences in thickness, durability, impact resistance, and lifespan depending on the product type. Here is what you need to know to make an informed decision about your roof. Picking a color? See our guide to asphalt shingle colors.

Flat, single-layer shingles. The budget option, lighter and thinner, with a uniform look and a 15 to 20 year lifespan.

Dimensional, multi-layer shingles with depth and shadow lines. The most popular residential choice, with a 25 to 30 year lifespan.

Class 4 rated shingles built to resist hail and debris. Often qualify for an insurance premium discount, with a 25 to 30 year lifespan.

Premium shingles that mimic slate or cedar shake for high-end curb appeal, with a 30 year-plus lifespan.

Ventilation and Shingle Life

Poor attic ventilation is one of the leading causes of early shingle failure. Heat builds up in the attic, bakes the underside of the shingles from below, and causes them to curl and crack years ahead of schedule. We check attic ventilation during every inspection. If your shingles are failing earlier than they should, ventilation is often the reason.

Lifespan Comparison

3-tab shingles

15 to 20 years

Architectural shingles

25 to 30 years

Impact-resistant shingles

25 to 30 years

Designer and luxury shingles

30+ years

Regular maintenance and catching small issues early make a significant difference on the life of an asphalt roof. A lifted shingle or failed flashing that goes unaddressed turns into a leak and decking damage far faster than it should.

A Proven Process for Asphalt Roofing Projects

We begin every project with a full inspection of the shingles, decking, flashing, valleys, and ventilation. You get a written report before any work is discussed or quoted. If the damage involves an insurance claim, our team helps document everything your adjuster needs and meets on-site if that is useful. Most of our asphalt work is storm and hail driven, and we have handled thousands of these claims in hail markets like Denver, Kansas City, and Omaha. We put together a clear scope and timeline, and we stick to it. Our crew cleans up every day and keeps you informed when anything unexpected comes up. Before we close the project, we will walk the roof with you and answer any questions.

Homeowners across the country choose Premier Roofing services for quality they can see and service they can trust. With thousands of successful projects and countless 5-star reviews, our reputation speaks for itself. From quick repairs to full roof replacements, customers praise our professionalism, honesty, and lasting results.

I was hit by a hail storm. Enrique stopped by and offered to do a free estimate. He showed me photos of the damage that was found and worked with me and my insurance company to get the roof on my house and garage replaced in a timely manner (the actual replacement took less than 2 days). We were also able to upgrade from shingle to metal. Enrique and Justin were always excellent about answering all my questions. The cost was reasonable and I am very happy with the result.

Taryn Ginter, Fort Collins, CO

Our family had a great experience with this company. We needed a sewer vent leak checked, and Sean Barrett offered a complimentary post hail inspection. He found major damage that insurance approved for a full replacement of our roof, gutters, and downspouts. Sean guided us through inspections, insurance, color choices like black shingles and white gutters and downspouts, and scheduling work after we repainted. He was always responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this company. Our home feels brand new!

Beth Lewis, Fort Collins, CO

Every phase of our roof and gutter/downspout replacement went very smooth and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Our salesman Jordan was terrific. Things went just as he explained they would and I could tell my insurance claims adjustor trusted Jordan’s judgement. Our crew chief Colton ran a hard working skilled crew that had attention to detail. I highly recommend Premier roofing.

Get a Free Low Slope Roof Inspection

If your tile roof has taken storm damage, has visible issues, or just hasn’t been inspected in a few years, schedule a free inspection with Premier Roofing. We’ll tell you exactly what’s going on and what it will take to fix it. Request your free inspection today.

Frequently Asked Questions

If your roof looks barely pitched from the street but you would not call it flat, you are probably in low-slope territory. A quick way to check: hold a level against the roof surface and measure how many inches it rises over a 12-inch run. Between 2 and 4 inches means a low slope. We measure exact pitch during every professional roof inspection, so if you are not sure, that is a good reason to schedule one.

It depends on the pitch. At 4:12, some shingles can work with enhanced installation, but below that, standard shingles are not rated for it and will fail early. Using the wrong product also voids the manufacturer’s warranty, which matters if you ever need to file an insurance claim. During a new roof installation, we will tell you exactly what your pitch allows and what the right options are.

Low-slope roofs are tricky because water does not drop straight through. It travels horizontally along the deck before it finds a gap to come through. The wet spot on your ceiling can be several feet from the actual entry point. Our team uses specialized roof repair services and a systematic approach to find the source, not just where the water is showing up inside.

Most residential low-slope projects are done in one to three days. Commercial buildings with larger footprints take longer. We give you a realistic timeline when providing a quote for roof replacement and update you throughout the job. For properties where downtime is a concern, we can sometimes phase the work to keep disruption manageable.

Most insurance providers cover hail and storm-related damage, but will deny claims based on normal wear and tear. On low-slope roofs, storm damage can be subtle and easily missed compared to standard pitches. We specialize in identifying these hidden issues and providing the detailed documentation adjusters require. This expertise is vital for navigating successful claims in hail-heavy areas like Denver, Fort Collins, and Wichita, especially for commercial roofing projects.
